Bark4Beauty is your chosen local Mobile Dog Grooming Service, serving South West London and Surrey areas. I am fully insured to work safely in your home with your dog, and love your dog like it is my own!
Established in August 2021, following my passion for dogs I qualified and set up Bark4Beauty to serve the doggy community in the comfort of their own homes. Recognising that not all dogs are able to travel, some can be anxious in the salon or have separation anxiety from their owners; identifying the convenience for pet owners to have a Dog Service come to their home was the pawfect foundations for the creation of Bark4Beauty to meet these needs of the community. Bark4Beauty gives dog owners the solution for convenience dog grooming; you can carry on with your daily duties and rest assured your dog is in good hands, saving you the time and hassle of taking time out to drop off/collect your dog from a grooming salon.
How does Bark4Beauty set up in my home?
I am self sufficient, I will bring the dog table along with all the required equipment (Inc scissors/clippers/shampoos/dryer) for the groom of your specific breed/s of dog.
I will use your bath/shower to wash the dog
- as long as you are happy for me to do so
- as well as provide a towel to dry them.
I will need a plug socket close by to the table to plug in the dryer to blow-dry your dog.
Once I have finished your dogs' groom I will clean up the area I have worked in, and also use a sanitising spray for the area.
Why does my dog need to be groomed?
Grooming of your dog is essential to look after and maintain their coat and skin; it is necessary for the control of both external and internal parasites and care of the skin, ears, teeth, paws and glands. Dogs nails need to be clipped or filed to keep them from growing too long and curling under becoming uncomfortable for your dog.
Grooming also helps prevent Ectoparasites such as Ticks, Fleas or Mites. When left, Ticks can lead to disease and sarcoptic mange, Fleas can lead to Anaemia and Mites are contagious to other dogs.
Different dog breeds have different types of coats such as a double coat, wiry, curly, short and smooth and long coats. They each require particular attention in regards to the type of groom, equipment and shampoo used. Bark4Beauty uses an appropriate shampoo for your dogs coat requirements; this will be discussed on initial consultation.
If you have a curly coated dog, you should aim to brush them regularly, daily if possible or as often as you can manage as these types of coats are prone to becoming matted.
Neglecting to regularly groom your dog could lead to your dog developing skin conditions, suffering with Ticks and Fleas and, depending on their type of coat, they could become severely matted.
It is recommended that your dog has regular grooming sessions, typically every 6-8weeks to maintain their coat, skin, nails, ears, teeth and glands.
After your dog's groom, Bark4Beauty will offer to book the next appointment to ensure regularity and availability.
When considering to get a dog you should familiarise yourself with the type of coat they have and the maintenance they will require so you can ensure you are prepared and able to meet their needs. Bark4Beauty grooms dogs from 6months old, providing a 'Puppy Desensitisation Session' to familiarise your dog with the grooming process.

Emma looked after both of my dogs very well - 1 is nervous and she was patient with her and took her time with her. She was very loving towards both of my dogs and made them look lovely and fresh. Would recommend!

Emma was brilliant. Bailey absolutely loved her from the moment he met her. She was patient, caring, gentle, and there were lots of cuddles throughout the groom. We had a lump of matted hair behind his ears and these are gone with the utmost care and precision. What I liked about the whole thing was that Emma engaged through out the process, asked what I’d like on Bailey, or made a recommendation that would be best suited for him. We’re already booked for the next session. Im sure Bailey would totally recommend Emma to all his doggy friends. 🐾

Emma was fantastic, Winnie is usually very nervous but Emma really put her at ease. She was really gentle with her. Gave her a brush and removed all of her knots before washing her. Blow-dry and brush before her cut. Really good technique when shaving her and educated me on hand stripping. Paid real attention to Winnie's feet and brushing her teeth. Emma has a real connection with dogs and treats each as if they were her own. I would highly recommend Emma for all your pooches pampering
