Full Groom Experience; includes 30mins de-matting if required, shave/trim/de-shedding, bath & blow-dry, clip nails, clean eyes, ears & teeth, finished with perfume. Sessions will take between 2-3hours dependent on requirements.

Hand-Stripping £25 per hour.

De-matting - (free 15mins) £15.00 per hour The first 15mins of De-matting is included in your dogs' allocated grooming time and will not be charged, thereafter there will be a £15 per hour additional cost.

Puppy Desensitisation Session (6months+) Sessions will be based on how your puppy responds to the equipment, bathing, drying and cutting/grooming processes, taking into account the type of groom required for your dog's breed. Sessions will start shorter as your puppy is introduced to the grooming process and will increase to a full session dependent on how quickly they become accustomed. During your puppys' first session, a plan will be discussed with you to work forwards in building your puppys' grooming confidence.

Process of grooming;
On arrival of your session I will discuss with you the type of groom required for your dog's breed, ask you a few questions about your dogs' health and grooming experience; along with your expectations for their groom, for example the type or length of cut you prefer.

I will give your dog an initial assessment to check the condition of their skin and fur, looking for any parasites or matting. Dependent on this I will then discuss any requirements with you. For example, dogs with severe matts down to their skin may need to be shaved.

If your dog has no matts then they will be bathed before being shaved so they get a 'clean cut', unless anxious/not tolerant of the dryer.

If your dog needs to be deshedded then this will be a 2-step process. The majority will be deshedded before bathing with a second round of de-shedding once bathed and blow-dried. If your dog needs to be hand-stripped then I will give them a gentle bath and blow-dry before hand-stripping as it is not advised to bath after hand-stripping (£25.00 per hour start-finish). If needs be, then a sensitive shampoo will be used to give a gentle bath after hand-stripping so to avoid causing skin irritations or infections.

I clean your dog's ears and eyes using special ear and eye wipes, and a dog toothpaste to brush their teeth; toothbrush will be provided by Bark4Beauty.

Please note, If your dog is nervous and showing signs of aggression then I will request your permission to Muzzle them in order to complete the groom. I understand that this is their way of showing their feelings so I use different techniques to try to keep them as comfortable and reassured as possible to prevent a traumatising experience for them.

Please advise on initial discussion if you have a nervous/aggressive dog.

Cancellation Charge: If you need to cancel or reschedule your dogs' groom appointment then please notify me as soon as possible and I am happy to be flexible free of charge up to 48hours. Same-day cancellations will incur a £15 cancellation fee due to loss of business at late notice.

If the parking where you live is permits or pay and display then you will need to provide a permit for the duration while I am at your address. If pay and display these costs will be added to your bill to be paid with the cost of your dogs groom.

PLEASE NOTE: Rescheduling appointments could cause a delay for your dogs groom and cause them to become matted in the meantime of waiting for next appointment availability. Please try to avoid this where possible.
